The internet to me is kind of like a black hole, and I never really go on it.
I tested for fourteen pilots before I ever got a job. Because I was like, sixteen and I was kind of a dark kid. I mean, in the sense that I was very independent and sarcastic and I had a lot more of a chip on my shoulder then than I do now. So I would go and test for these shows and they would always be like, ‘We just feel like she might be a little dark to play the fourteen year old daughter on this comedy’.
